I don't claim to be a moral or ethical authority, my group is centered on gaming no policing the internet.

What grinds my gears is when people say they are "Gamers" when they play shit games all day and think they know what they are talking about.

"Yeah, in MW3 you can do this, this and this!"
"But they fixed things that weren't even broken"
"I don't care, it's the best game ever"

tl;dr Most "Gamers" don't know what game design is and what makes a good game. MW3 is just an example.

EDIT: I wasn't talking about 'The Gamers' group btw.
 
I think I'm the only one qualified to be the leader of "Gamers"

Knowing what game design is and what makes a good game are two completely different things. Knowing what game design is is not needed to be a gamer, since they're playing not designing/developing the game. "What makes a good game?" Who are you to say that though, good games are subjective and based on personal preference and views of the game.

What grinds my gears is when you can do something but when it comes to being required you just go blank.

Just because you have a lot of games doesn't make you 'qualified' :L

I think the point I was trying to get at was most "gamers" aren't very clued in about what happens when developers make a game terribly.

That is definitely true, but then again they really don't care IMHO. They just want a game that they enjoy and can be good at. A game is terrible = put it down and choose another one.

No it's a good example, I have gigabytes of renders, C4Ds, textures, fonts, etc, but I'm no photoshop wizard.
