If you did kill yourself in the past theoretically you would die as your present self

In theory if you went back in time to kill yourself, you wouldn't exist at the point of you killing yourself, so it wouldn't happen. Basically the second you thought of killing yourself you'd just vanish.

This is rather a good question...
If you killed yourself, it's suicide. Whereas you're killing a different version of yourself I suppose, which makes it murder.
I honestly don't know.
