Did I loose my gamer tag ?

So I bought a gamer tag a few weeks ago. And yesterday night it was taken and swapped on a fresh account. I called a UA on the account. So did I loose the tag. Not that mad I only spent like $80. Btw it was offsite.

This happened to me with my old Gamertag, and my favorite, "Classified". It's gone forever.
 
Sorry to say, but you will most likely not be getting this back :'[ Your best bet would be to try and contact who took it back. What was the tag?
 
Damn this sucks, atleast I won the chargeback ! Sent the on a VPN :)
 
Yea they don't care about gamertags they care about getting the account back to you you could try and get the tagged banned!!! idk sorry this happened
 
Nope! Call xbox support put a UA on the account, and as long as they see ip correlation you get you're gamertag and you're account back! Just make sure you say you had an important gamertag and your set.
 
I thought the guy took it back, and deleted the MS account @leader?

I got it back from a UA and then Microsoft swapped the email to a support email.
 
They didn't give you the email/pass? o_O

That happened to me, but they gave me the info..

They gave me a reset link, and that worked fine. I changed the password and everything. They mysteriously swapped it to a support email after 2 days.

So they gave you the account it was swapped from. You didn't get the tag back ?
 
That sucks man, good luck with getting it back. What was the tag though?
