Derek Jeter Retiring

The New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter announced that he will be retiring after the 2014 season. Being a huge fan of Jeter and hearing this makes me sad. I will miss seeing him play on the field especially at SS... #FairwellCaptain

I have a poster with all the top baseball players of 1999! Everyone on there has retired except for him! He is a hall of famer! He inspires kids all around the world.

This is sad to see him go, me growing up wishing I was like him was my dream. Now I have to se him play 1 more time.

It was only a matter of time, and is quite sad for me to see him go. I've been going to many of his games since I was a child.
