Just made a new avatar and signature for myself. Nothing too much, simple and clean was what i was going for. Thoughts?

Yeah, i did that on purpose. The colored letters spell out Xenial in Dead Space code. I just put Xenial there again so people would get that. xD

Yes it needs a background and more shiny render to suit the theme in my opinion. Also move the text slightly right so that it will align up with the eyes of the guy it will create a nice effect then.

I also thing that you should look into the rule of thirds for your text placement.

There's an awful lot of space you need to work on, also the text doesn't suit the colours.
