I have a amd quad core ( dont know exact one) playing on lowest setting only getting around 40-65 frames, i know I should be getting more my friends has an i3 and is getting 100+ help?

Yeah you have a really outdated card..

Only has 1GB of GDDR3 which is bad.

GDDR3 is way out of commission now.

He could but more than likely he'll get a second hand one, and there are still tons of sealed 750ti's on newegg etc.

I mean he could spend a few more bucks and get a R9 270 non x version.

But you have to think about power consumption, the 750ti takes about 300w of power, and the 660 takes about 450w. But you have to factor in load etc.
