Well since everyone seems to hate the posting contest, I figured you must all have foolproof contests of you're own. Let's hear them then...post away.

Basically.

The Elite has an idea, give a contest that helps bring up activity. It might bring in some new people even who will stay. He gives awesome prizes, but no, you guys hate it because it brings some LQ people.

Seriously if someone can give a better idea then it's ok, but otherwise give him a break.
 
Nobody is blaming TE for the contest. It was a good idea on paper but just didn't work out here.
 
I personally think, don't hold me to it, but it was Crysis this time as well too. It's just a shame that The Elite CAN'T hold a contest without it going bad.
 
Offtopic people, someone can make a blaming thread. I want ideas here, not blame.

Because they wanted the rewards. Human nature to get stuff.
 
The posting contest is good, but there needs to be more rules for it.

The contest would work great if Staff were really strict, any sign of negativity towards members involving the contest would result in a ban from the contest, further negativity would result in a ban/limited till the contest is over.

Any noticable spam would result in a warning, then the same as above^

Just needs alot of monitoring for it too work.

We don't have the power to do that in the contest.
