I have $820 to spend on a computer/laptop
I don't know whether to get a laptop, a pc or buy pc parts and make one?

I'd recommend building your own desktop, since you already have a MacBook for when you're travelling.

Sure they professionally build their stuff, but they mark up their prices ALOT.
