I really dont know why I am making this thread, but this is what I do monthly to keep my computer running smoothly and virus free

What you will need
1. A computer
2. Internet Access
3. A PAID antivirus (Usually Paid will help protect you and remove more viruses)
4. Some common sense.

FAQ

Q: Why clean monthly? Why not weekly or daily?
A: Cleaning monthly is better that weekly or daily in that many application temp files expire monthly so cleaning weekly would be pointless if the tempfile is still going to be used, and cleaning daily is just a waste of time.

Q: What is the Best AntiVirus?
A: all is based on opinion, I perfer AVAST INTERNET SECURITY works well.

Q: Why should you clean your computer?
A: Because it will keep it running semi-Fast as unused files will end up slowing it down, and well it will seep you semi-organized

What to do
1. Begin by disconnecting from the internet (Makes popups stop when uninstalling items)
2. Open cmd as Admin
3. Type chkdsk "Put the drive letter that windows is installed here without quotes": /r It will ask you if you want to schedule for next boot, press "y" and "enter"

4. Empty Recycle Bin
5. Open %windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe
6. Delete Unneeded files (Usually all temp ones) Dont delete the hybernate if you use it.
7. open MSCONFIG.exe located at C:\Windows\System32
8. Go to startup and unselect applications that you do not use regularly
9. Defrag HDD
10.Reboot PC
11. Perform a virus scan
