College/What I would like to do for Future

So basically I'm a sophomore in high school and recently I have been thinking about college and what I would like to major in/and also what I would like to do for my future. What really seems to interested me is conversation of how we (as in people) got on this earth and evolution as well just humans in general, as well as the earth and space. This seems to be what I am extremely interested in and I would like to know what you would suggest I do in College? It's closer then it seems and I would like to begin (even though it is so far away) figuring out what I would like to do in life instead of coming out of college or even high school and having no idea what I want in life. It would be awesome if you could give me some suggestions. Also on a slight side note I recently watched Donnie Darko and a lot of the themes in that movie such as Time travel, the philosophy of it, and Tangent and Primary Universes really interested me. So please help me out I'm very curious to see what type of major this would lead to, if there is even one. Thanks!
