COLD WATER

i wanna ask if its true or false.some are saying if you drink always a glass of cold water, they are saying that this is the reason why you become fat.so it means normal water can help you become thin?
 
It is true that cold water can burn calories since the body needs to maintain equilibrium or homeostasis. Our hypothalamus located in our brain, is the temperature regulating part of our body where it is sensitive to cold and hot temperature. It also goes the same with drinking cold water. However, there are disadvantages on drinking cold water in respect to hydration. We may feel refreshed after drinking a glass of cold water but the effects in our body is somewhat different because the hypothalamus will signal the brain that you already had enough water you drink because of course, it is more sensitive to cold temperature. In return, you are not drinking the adequate amount of water required in your body system.

If we look at it closely, water is composed of 2 atoms of hydrogen and an atom of oxygen. Oxygen burns fats so I think even if the water is not so cold and it is in its normal temperature, it still does have an effect in slimming down. Water therapy as they say.

i have been told the opposite by a nutritonlist here in Mexico. he told me to drink as much cold water and ice cubes as I could. This also helps on lose wt. I did it and it worked real well for me.
