If you get rank 100 then you get a 80 gamerscore achievement. Might as well.

Also if you get rank 120 you get the minigun. I understand what your saying though. I would get like rank 280.

Idk lol i just said a random number. I forgot what rank you get a tank at though. Rbably like 150.

You unlock access to a tank at level 70.
