I noticed I was level 35, and I don't quite understand why. What does this whole thing mean and how do you "level up"?

I don't want to sound rude, but we're not really fighting. I'm just saying we don't need 3 different threads on it, we should just keep it to 1 so there isn't a whole bunch of different threads. Sorry if I made that sound rude :s.
