If you had the choice to be blind or deaf for the rest of your life, which path would you take? How long do you think you'd last without one of your sense?

i think id rather be Deaf as i think Seeing is believing and to see is beautiful... i couldnt live without seeing and i think i could learn sign language pretty fast :p

I would choose to be blind. From experience, people that are blind rather than deaf are much more aware of their surroundings, not to mention, you learn to appreciate others and always listen to what they have to say. If sound is all you have, you can become more considerate and sympathetic.

I would rather be blind I couldn't listen to music deaf and I could be like Daredevil

Once you got either blind or deaf, I doubt being on the computer will be a very big part of your life.

I'm to pussy to choose any because I'm afraid that it will happen lol. I'm paranoid.

I think it'd be a bigger part, like, you can't do much else if your deaf. You can't talk to people, you can't do shit. Might as well sit back and play some games without sounds.

defiantly rather be dead then blind

id rather be blind, to appreciate emotive beauty, and to eliminate physical bias, also either way, we can develop bionic ears and eyes given technology today, we even have bionic hearts and an artificially intellegent robot called Asimo by honda

Funny you should ask, I was just having this conversation the other day with some friends and a teacher. It certainly is a tough one.
At first we all felt that we would much rather be deaf...
Then I realized that eventually both senses are going to fail me to some extent anyways.
So I thought harder.
I realized that I've already had the opportunity to see a lot of the beauty that this planet has to offer. I also figured that I could do without seeing its continued destruction.
I'd rather take care of my ears and have them work well into old age.
I would get to know people on a much deeper level, because all I would have to go on is the things that they said, not their body language or how they look.
I suppose I would have a lot of time on my hands to master any instrument as well.
I don't know that I could give up my eyesight, I love playing sports too much...
But if I was forced to choose, I'd give up my eyesight.

I'll be honest I rather hear then see. I may not see what goes on but I can sure in he'll listen

Would rather be blind
I sit here in my bed all day So wtf do I gota see?
I got dubstep and Weed to keep me happy
Fuck seeing shit

fatmatch, it sounds like you're promoting the idea that love isnt skin deep, good on you, i support you
