Cheap Hosting

I'm looking for a cheap host to host a small blog for a friend.

It really doesn't need much specs at all, just something basic.

I can only pay in Paypal.
 
Just sign up for unmetered onshore/offshore hosting when hackforums is back up. Or you could use www.freehostingcloud.com .

Free hosting is shit. I used free hosting when I just started up sleek market but it had so many errors and was so slow, so I just bought a paid host and re-installed everything.

On HF hosting may be good, but they only last a month or so, like OM -.-, it was fast and good but the host shitted us.
 
Some of them are free, but you have to do surveys. That's the ones I use. Because I know they're making money and they probably won't die out.

That's true. But for SM I just preferred getting a nice, fast, long lasting host.
 
I ordered a VPS with 1.5 GB RAM if you want to use that.
I don't use the resources on it.
I'll sell you hosting on it for 5$ a month?
 
Do you have a paypal that isn't limited? If so, I could get users to donate $5 to you at the beginning of the month, then they'll send the rest to me.
 
Yeah. You'll have to setup the webhost and everything. It has got more than enough resources.
If you can get 5$ a month I'm cool. I'll send you TV details to get it setup.
 
Well, TeamViewer seems to be down on the VPS...? Can you double-check it next time you login?
 
I enjoy XtreemHost, there free package is pretty good and there paid isn't half bad!

It may not be the best or cheapest, but that's who I have been using for well over 2 years :)

No it's TV for my PC. I shut it off.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll find a lot around. I'd just stay away from any MijnDomein.nl (bad UI) and stuff like NearlyFreeSpeech (any spike in traffic will be really expensive).
 
I just bought some from HostGator, and all seems to be well. This thread can be closed now.
