CCleaner is coming to Android

CCleaner Android

Good news for all Android users! We’ve heard your requests, and we’re excited to let you know that we’re hard at work creating a CCleaner for Android app.
It’s work in progress, and we don’t have a final release date yet, but we’ve been doing some internal testing, and we’re very happy with how it’s looking!

As with CCleaner for PC and Mac, CCleaner for Android will be quick and easy to use. And with its one-click cleaning, will help keep your Android devices running like new!

It is now in development,with no word on a release date as of yet.

I actually was using CCleaner about 10 minutes ago. xD I love it.

All your temporary internet files from all browsers. Clean the phones registry for all the uninstalled applications.

That I'm not sure about. I will look into that for you, but as far as I know it's not on iOS yet. :-/

For both of you I found this thread on the developers website.

According to one of the mods:

One there is .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 chance of there EVER being a iOS (ipods, Iphones, IPads) virus.

No problem. He's right though, Android is the most commonly hit OS for mobiles, compared to iOS which very very very rarely get anything. So giving it to Android first is really common sense.

True, someone might create something similar, but for it being on iPhone with the same developers that make CCleaner I really doubt it would be made.

I'm just thinking from the experience I've got in the tech field.

Ahh my bad, didnt read the rest of Nergal's (I think that's his username) reasoning. It most likely won't happen unless iOS completely changed in OS 7. But I do think if Apple gave them a chance to make something they'd do at least something...

Does a phone even have that many temporary files to make it that slow?
