Captcha for the registration page

It seems that there are a load of bots registering. The MyBB anti spam measures aren't the best, the captcha MyBB has can easily be bypassed.

There are some plugins for Captcha support, I suggest getting them. It would get us less or none bots.

Agreed, It would be a good idea as Paperbag said, but also a trick question installed in the registration as well. Such as Whats "10 - 3". Just incase for people who bypass the captchas

Agreed, these accounts are probably going to be used for scamming etc.

I agree, but something better is 1 Account per IP.

Some people have dynamic Ip's and some people have static IP's

I've been checking the Memberlist, I haven't seen many bots or any join in the past few days? Can you link me to some profiles you may think are bots and I'll check. The Stopforumspam plug in has stopped hundreds of legitimate people logging in and or registering which didn't actually benefit us one bit.

Well, in the beginning there were a load of bots, and it would decrease the chance of getting bots in the future.
