I honor her choice simply because it is allowing her to take that last step to reach fulfilled happiness within her body and it is allowing her to feel comfortable with her well-being. Everyone should take that last step in an effort to achieve happiness, whether that step is as minor as losing weight or something as drastic as a surgical sex change. It is not my body, nor my life, so I am not going to flaunt pretensious hatred towards her or her choices. She is still human, as are we, and despite our views and opinions, we should rightfully accept the subtle fact we are not all the same. Individuality is important. At the end of the day, we are all humans, and it is human nature to accept choices that are not ours to make. It is unfortunate that most people are too [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]hard-headed to swallow that realization.[/font]

I don't see how this bothers anyone. Gender identity disorder is a legitimate medical condition and has substantial evidence suggesting it stems from a biological defect, not some made up bullshit.
These people aren't happy in their skin so who are we to deny their right to happiness. The question here is why did she wait so long, maybe because there's still so much ignorance in the world when it comes to controversial topics like this.
Do I enjoy the sight of a transgender male? Not at all, in fact I think they look hideous but if that's what makes them happy then I respect it and move along, they're not hurting anyone.
