if you want to bump your own thread, you have to wait 24 hours from your last post if it is the last post on the thread.

Well no shit, but what if you were the last person to post.

If you wait a certain amount of time after your previous post, then it will count whatever you post as a new post, bumping it, rather than your new post just being added onto your previous post.
