Broken phone

Okay, so I have an lg Cosmo 2, and I've had to replace this phone before because the phone screen was all rainbow. And we had to pay 200 dollars for a replacement. Well, today, I went down to my room and picked up my phone and the screen was blue. I talked to my mom, and she said that she's not buying me a new one, so I'm really upset. Well I was wondering if there is anyway to get the contacts off of that phone. It will still turn on, but you just can't see anything... If someone could help, that would be great.

Would you be able to do it by connecting it to the computer and browsing the file system on there? Like is there any way it brings that up automatically upon connection, or do you have to do a lot on your phone to bring it up (which would be near impossible since you can't see what you're doing on the phone)? Can you put the microSD or sim card into another phone and transfer the contacts using the other phone?

Here is a guide I found I have no idea if this will be any help.. probably not: http://imblogginghere.com/techblog/...ferring-pictures-and-contacts-from-lg-cosmos/

Oh. Cause usually if you get a new phone, you put the old sim card in the new phone and choose like 'transfer contacts from sim' or something on the new phone. If you have an SD card you could do the same depending on where the contacts are stored on your broken phone.

Ah okay man. Well, try going to the store of your phone provider and they should be able to get them off it for you.
