not bad, I suppose now that this is coming out there will be many methods on how to refund for free BTC haha.
 
if it's physical cards, i dont see how that will work because btc is so unstable

I am almost sure they will do it the same way BitPay does transactions. Once you cash it in, you get the same amount of money you paid for, but in Bitcoin. It won't say 0.1 Bitcoin on the card, but rather $25. And when they cash it in, they use the exchange rate at the time and get heir own wallet instantly.

Quite cool, huh?
