Best language to learn

So I've been doing a lot of thinking the past few days about possibly learning a second language. I'm not very interested in Spanish/French. What language should I attempt to learn? I want to be able to speak fluently in the language, so I would like it to be somewhat easy to learn. I was thinking maybe German, Italian, or something along those lines.

The only other language besides English that will really benefit you is Spanish.

If you can't speak Spanish/French with ease then you won't be able to speak fluently with other languages without spending years and years on it.

learn a language you are interested in learning otherwise it will be pretty pointless to learn it (in my opinion)

It's not that I can't speak them, I'm just not interested in learning those languages

It depends what plans you have in life. Spanish is probs the best for staying in the United States. But if you plan to travel out of the country I would pick something fun like german or french.(Assuming you are in the United States)... German is cool, but it can sound angry sometimes. I myself took french. It was fun but I have not used it a single day after taking the class.

Well develop your skills on those two.
Force yourself to learn them.

Its the two easiest languages and without them you won't be able to do more complex languages properly such as German.

But yeah I'd suggest German. It simply sounds good. And if you've had some experience in Spanish its fairly simple

I am in the United States, I was thinking German. But I am going to Basic Training in a few months. I was thinking of maybe learning German, or possibly Italian since my dad speaks it fluently.

In that case I would say learn Italian. It would be fun for you and your day to speak it together.

Does spanish have a type of relation with German? I always thought of German as completely different. But that is true Spanish/French are somewhat of a base language to learn others

Language
Approx. number of speakers
1. Chinese 2
1,197,000,000
2. Spanish
414,000,000
3. English
335,000,000
4. Hindi
260,000,000

These are the most important languages for obvious reasons.

With all 4 languages you can communicate with over 2 billion people.

Because in this technological generation there isn't a need to learn new languages.

But there isn't a direct correlation but it can help significantly that you can speak a different tongue.

Guessing that he lives in america there's a lot more spanish speaking people than german for example.

I say to learn Portuguese so that you can go down to Brazil and pick up some hot Brazilian women.

I am completely fluent in Spanish and English, because of that I can understand French.

I learned Spanish first, then English and I have been practicing French.

Je déteste le langue de français. J'ai étudié le français durant tres années, mais je suis dans  Baccaluareate International FRENCH IV, et ne serai pas l'utilise après le lycée.
Il est mon pire sujet

I guess it might be helpful since i want to go somewhere in fashion, but probably not t b h

subject agreement is the worst shite
