Best game screen recording program?

I'm thinking of making gameplays of me playing CS:S or any other game but I want no exact lag. I've got the hacked version of Fraps but not all the the games will work with it open. (By that I mean not record.) It's weird It works fine for Minecraft and some other games I don't really play.
Is Sony Vegas good? If so where could I get a 100% legit hacked version (Full Version though)? I have Fraps hacked version I can still record over 30 seconds unlike the real Fraps. :uneasy:

I use Fraps, you can use Wegame, Hypercam. Etc.
