Beat's hate train? Why?

So I've heard a lot of hate on the Beats by Dre headphones and I don't understand why. They don't have the best sound I know that but they don't sound bad. They're really comfy and look awesome. I don't think many of these haters have owned or used a pair at all.

Do any of you hate Beats by Dre? If so why?

For anyone curious, I own the solo HDs.

What headphones do you own then?

Sennheiser's are the best headphones known to man. They do cost a pretty penny but are AMAZING.

They are basically like Apple, they over price their products, but still have millions of users.
They sound great to only a certain type of people : BASS LOVERS.
I have the Studio's and they are pretty nice. But i barley use them as I have the supreme Sennheiser Momentum

From what I know, not from personal experience but from reading online and from others that own them. The money that you pay for them can get you better quality headphones, but if you like the design and are willing to pay the extra I think its fine to get them

I've owned 4 pairs of Beats.  2 pairs broke just after the guarantee and the third I had to send back to be fixed.

Admittedly I think the quality is reasonable but for the sort of money? No.

They are reasonably decent for rap songs, which I listen to so no complaints there.

For those curious I got through 2 pairs of urbeats and 1 pair of studios.

I personally dislike the color schemes & overall design + hefty price.

But I don't necessarily hate them.

They're overrated, overpriced, sizable, and they lack in overall quality.

Cheap to make, bass levels too high, overpriced, horrible design.
Sennheiser, Bose, Audeze, AKG, Audio-Technica are all better

I have personally used Audio-Technica and Audeze products. idk i guess I'm an audiophile

Meh, I've never really owned a pair because they don't really seem appealing. I've seen people walking around with them on their head and it just looks fucking disgusting.

My honest opinion.
