We will start by picking the max size for signatures, as we will need a lot of space.
Next, Make a new layer + Pick a color and use the shape tool to make a square that covers most of the space. Make sure to leave some white space because we will need that for later.
Double click on the layer to go to it's blending options. As you can see I have just messed with the settings until I have found something that looks fitting to almost any theme for MyBB forums.

Now that you have that part done, find some text and fidget with those settings until you find one that looks nice and covers the whole (blue) square.
