I've just noticed in the last couple of days a few long-time and respected members have been banned? What's going on? One thing they all have in common: Negative rep to the new "owner".

Most are for Flaming Glen. The guy just took over the damn website, give him a little slack.
Also people who have scammed in the past, such as Carbon
