So I was able to hook up my laptop to my external monitor through a vga cable, so I'll be back on now. I'm not sure when I'm getting a new laptop, but I'll be back for now.

2 things that suck are that my warranty ran out 10 days ago, and it would cost me around 300-400 to fix my laptop, and its after christmas so all the laptops are high priced again. I'm trying to decide on what laptop to get.
 
I would recommend HP out of those two. I would also suggest going to Best Buy and looking around, but then I remembered that everyone who works at Best Buy is mentally retarded.

I have an HP at the moment, but I heard Asus had more high performance computers.

The old shitty computer I had with no keyboard and was slow as hell.
