Award transfer fee

Why does a few clicks cost a staggering $30?!?
I don't understand why there is even a transfer fee in place, yet alone the price is ehm yeah, a lot.

Is there a specific reason to why the transfer fee is in place and so expensive?

Because Philly is the owner of the site, and he can do what ever he wants.. If you don't like it don't buy awards or groups save even more money..

Because the transfer fee allows you to change the award!

If there was no transfer fee than everyone would just be selling/buying awards, and @Philly would be going through all this trouble for free.

It is mainly in place to maintain the value of awards, as well as to allow personal awards to actually last a bit instead of being changed and transferred every few hours.
