Astros Without Mixamp

Hello everyone,

I really need help! I dont want game volume because I love my dolby surround sound in my house, so I dont need an actual full on gaming headset. But I love the way the new Astro A Stars look, and the fact that I can use them for running and working out is awesome...

So basically what im getting at is, can I buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter so I can plug my A Stars directly into my controller and only use them as a mic?

Idc about game volume all I want is a mic. Any help would be great, thanks!

I dont think so because the astro headset itself has a seperate plug to the talk back cable. Get like turtle beach or something

I would but I've head 3 pairs of TBs, and they have all broke without explanation lol. So I wont be going back to them

Also, the A Stars only have one cable, as they are headphones with a mic. But they make them with 3.5mm jacks so you will have to buy their mixamp if you want to game with it.
I would risk buying them and getting the adapter but they are expensive and I dnt want to risk it lol
