I'm not COMPLETELY sure, but i'm sure that if you build your own computer that you'd know the inside just as well as the outside, and thats important for any situation.
If you're just looking for a standard computer with good specs, I'd just buy one.
But if you know how to build, fix computers, and a little more money to spend, then I would say to build one.
