Are you a responsible voter?

We always make complains about government services and they way government officials are running the government. During election time, we select leaders who will be running the government for a period of time, therefore giving us direct control on who's going to lead us but most often, we elect leaders who are inept and corrupt and when everything goes wrong, we make protests and ask them to step down. By being a responsible voter, being wise in choosing elected officials, do you think we can have more sensible leaders and government? Do you vote only to exercise your right or it is a duty that needs to be done right?
