Recently a lot of Priests have been busted with Child Porn and molesting little boys, because of their high standing within their community and the catholic religion itself they don't seem to be being punished. Do you think Priests are above the law.

Um Definitely not.
Just because someone "Claims" To be "Holy" doesn't mean they are.
There are also many different types of views among people, so the way one person thinks isn't the same as someone else in terms of Religion.
My personal opinions are this, Priest are like Clowns, Stay the F$%@ Away.

Priests are not above the law. They are also just normal people but they are supposedly "holy". They should not get extra treatment just because they are priests. They should get the same treatment as anyone else who would have done that crime.

If it was the priests fault, police are more inclined to think other wise and blame the other person who is innocent. Thats my view, as i have seen it happen to my dad who was fined $100 dollars for being hit in the back of a car. Police didn't examine, or even take my dad to court, it was an upfront fine. That is why i believe they are above the law and why i have no interest in religion of the catholic eyes
it is true, some get away with it ,but, I find it disgusting. Im a homophobic towards guys ... that an im terrified of being kidnapped and raped. So I think any person even accused with a little bit of proof should be put away

1) The statute of limitations has often expired by the time the priests are accused. This means that after a certain amount of time has passed, the priests can no longer held responsible by law for their actions.
2) There is often no evidence. In 99% of the cases that we see, the accusers have no evidence except their word which is not enough to obtain a conviction.
3) All a priest has to do is hide within a church and he cannot be arrested. It is law that no one can be arrested in a religious establishment without the consent of its owner. Thus, a priest hides in his own church and refuses to give consent for his own arrest.
