How much does a vps cost not as much as is being quoted + with advertisement placement revenue and post bit adds + the loads of donations that have been given.

I believe April fools. If not I will be quite sad and very very annoyed.

Here is what I posted in another thread on the subject... hopefully some of you can make some sense of it and will stop believing this shit.

It is obviously a joke. Look at it this way...

TE obviously knows he has a supportive community here, so don't you think he would ask for donations or at least warn us of the situation well before the upcoming date of April Fools Day.

Now, let's say he didn't want to ask us for donations, don't you think he would just sell the damn forum to someone who would be able to afford it? Why would you just kill a community on the spot before trying to sell it off and keep it running.

And I also like to point out how hard Chewbaka [any mod really] tries in all of his posts to make himself actually sound serious.

It's completely obvious that this is a joke, so settle down.

This was obviously an April Fools joke, did no one attempt to quote the first post?

We're not shutting down Rune Gear, I don't plan to shut down Rune Gear for years, maybe never. Either way, anyone who wanted to donate to Rune Gear, you can still donate, it's all for a good cause and benefits Rune Gear extremely.
