I couldn't keep this a secret for much longer, so I'm going to announce it to the community. Over the last two months, Techno and I have been revising over things to expand Rune Gear and how we should do it. Our first though was to expand Rune Gear to a full blown RuneScape fan site. Meaning, we wouldn't just be a community, but a RuneScape fan site with RuneScape Item Database, quest tutorials, video tutorials and more.
This was something we both wanted to happen in the near future and agreed that this would be one of the major expansions of Rune Gear. So, plans have begun. We've started planning multiple things, such as design, the team etc. We will be hiring approximately 30-40 members to work on Tutorials, Item Databases and more. These members will receive a lot of benefits since the work is voluntarily, their work will not go unrewarded.
The design though is quite expensive. From the funds I've received over the last week, they have been substantial. I've received over $500+ USD. I've invested approximately half the money in resources for Rune Gear.
$150 - VPS (3 Months)
$80 - Advertising
$70 - Miscellaneous
The website design will cost over $750 USD, and we've approximately raised over $250 USD. This goal will be met soon, Rune Gear's traffic is rising, therefore ad prices will rise. We're 1/3 the way there which is something to look forward to. $750 invested into the design ensures that it's quality is of the best and so is its security.
