Rune Gear was just attacked yesterday with a massive co-ordinated DDOS attack. The attack reached a maximum of 800mbit/s. We had to null-route the IP and I've firewalled the traffic. I wasn't on when it occurred so I actually didn't know anything happened till I came back.

Sorry for the 12 hour downtime.

Glad to see Runegear back up and running. It is not your fault. That big of a DDoS attack is quite shocking

The fact that someone used all those resources to take down a website this size shows that they're afraid of us and know we are striving. Jealousy is a terrible thing, attacks have not and will not take us down.

Nope, nothing to do with me. I was actually serious about my tool, and I'm quite satisfied with the result.

I'll say it one more time, I didn't mean to hurt the website, and in fact, I didn't...

You do realise that most of the members here are from another forum, that Is Involved In hacking, If the elite finds out u are DDoSing the website, and he shares ur IP u will end up getting more beat up than a Gay at a Gangclub.
Not kidding.

We have a privacy policy where none of my forum team can release IPs of members or other personally identifiable information.

Well, "1337Inj3ct0r", of course a decent forum have a privacy policy. If you were a bit smarter you would have known that if I find out anyone is sharing private infos (such as my IP) is violating fundamental rights of mine, and I could sue the person or organisation who did such a thing.
Not kidding.

I'd like to thanks The Elite for his maturity though, as I can see it's not that comon.

I wouldnt give a damn fuck even If u called Michael jackson or michael myers, If I found out u were DDoSing my forum, I would share ur ip with everyone I knew was able to do something evil with It, Including myself.

I'm actually doing useful things, taking example of this SEO tool, your poor education wants to call a booter, it actually worked very well and didn't even lag the website.

How am I an attention whore ? When was I bragging ? When did I say I ever DDoS'ed anything ? Not because you hear people talking about booters everywhere it doesn't mean you know how it actually works. If I wanted to crash this website, I could without using anything related to flooding. But, as I discussed with the owner of this website, I never wanted to cause any damage to the forums, and certainly never will. Would I brag about doing something illegal ? Would I still be a member of this forums ? You seem to talk a bit more than you think. And no, I don't want the "reputation "hacker"", only kids with booters think it's cool. You seem to be one of them.

If you could stop using words like "cunt" twice in a line, maybe you wouldn't look so much like a kid. I can only imagine a 15 year old angry kid behind his screen, thinking he "rulez the universe" because he's "1337" on HF and has bought a crypter, a booter and Blackshades.

If I were your father, I would slap you behing the head and take your PC and xBox (I can only assume you have one) because it doesn't seem to be too good for you.

I have a privacy policy that the private information of a member can not be released if they're hackers, scammers or anything else. All information is kept private. I don't care what they do, I don't retaliate with illegal actions, I retaliate with legal implications against the wrong-doer.

Illegal retaliation is not legal I hope you know that. You can be imprisoned if you attack back with an illegal method no matter what he did.

The Elite, is it possible to code something like a Flood deflector in PHP? I've never really have seen one before, but I've heard it's possible.

you can try but after all most big ddos attacks can completely overload it. However for amateur attacks that would be usefull
