I've went ahead and implemented a custom feature on Rune Gear. From the looks of it, we are the first MyBB community to have this feature on the forum. To use this feature, you must have 20 posts or more, OR be an upgraded user. What this feature does is cover the content that is in the hidden tags from users who do not have the posts amount. Sponsors can bypass this automatically, no matter what the post count is.

To use this:
[hidden= 500]Content[/hidden]

You must remove the space before the post count to use this feature.

This blocks users from seeing the content unless they have 500 posts (or if they're a Sponsor).
