Ok, so I'll try to sum this up the best I can.
My IT teacher can't figure out how to make the start up process take way less time. (Under 1 minute atleast)

The school computers are hooked up to a network of about 65 computers give or take.
They are running Windows XP Professional.

My IT teacher said she would pay me $300 if I could fix the start up speed for each computer, but the problem is, I'm not to sure how.. I've drastically reduced the .onstartup programs to very few, and I've made it so the security (McAfee) doesnt automatically search for updates on start up. The problem is, nothing seems to be working. She won't let me download any untrusted files either, so I've lost that idea.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a better server with a better processor, should help.
What are the specs, if you have them?

Sounds like a cpu not a server problem.

It has an Intel Core Duo processor, of course it's the computer.. I would never use it.

I'm not sure what the specs are yet.
