Why you deserve it: Hosted contests with awards easily exceeding 25m RSGP. Halloween contest would be one nice example.

So I was thinking about this award thing (and not because I got denied), that you don't 'apply' for an award. It should be given to you. Not really by applying for one.

That was the whole idea of awards. We did have another thread for applying for awards, but it was mainly to give us a reminder like "hey, i do remember you doing a lot of stuff and such" so we will consider giving you an award. Now they have pretty much been ruined due vast amounts being giving out. They aren't even meaningful anymore. If you go to the the awards page, you can definitely tell where the quality of awards drop. You used to be, "How many times did you beg Mike to give you that award?", now it is, "What admin did you ask to get that award?".

I also think some of the awards are redundant. Doing one thing pretty much makes you eligible for multiple awards. :\

Well, Maybe a whole re-think should be done for the awards, different names, more awards. A bigger variety, so virtually anyone can have an award.

Wrong direction. There are tons of awards already. Some are redundant. Pretty much anyone who is here all the time can already get an award.

Award: Computer Genius
Why: I've made numerous threads that show my wizardness, I've helped many RG users in the past with their computer problems, and outside of Rune Gear I've helped a lot of people too.

I know my computer stuff, Maybe not as good as Inxy, but I'm not your average PC user. I deserve this award.

Why, Don't just say "No.", Back up your statement with reasons and things.

You really have no reason to say no, I know my computer stuff, The only person who has it is Inxy, which is a no-brainer, But what's an award, if it's only given to people who have sex with Computers (being like the next bill gates). I know my stuff, I think I deserve the award.
