Well I don't know about you guys, but I just started botting a few short months ago. And while I enjoy making money doing absolutely nothing, I still slightly miss the old days where I used to play legit. Anyone else have this feeling?

The good old days for me were 2 years ago
When I started playing I played legit to Combat level 50 then I just got pissed with all the kids higher then me and started botting woodcutting Got bad armor and Botted monsters
And yea just went from there
I use to use I forget the name The old powerban the Old site
Back then no one was such into scamming in runescape or Trying to steal every thing
Now a days its 75% bots
Good percentage of them already scammed or Stole something in rs its really sad imo
Now a days I learned the hard way Make your own account Write down every thing then your ok
Bot something you won't get banned and your safe
But yea the old days were better when money meant way more
Who else back then Only wanted full bandos and Thought that was the best ever
Like I always wanted bandos and a godsword and If I got that I would be the best in the world
Who else thought that?

Yeah, my botting adventures started when I joined Hackforums.
Man, I was around playing RuneScape legit when Aryan was released. That shit was old school, first bot that did Rune Mysteries LEGIT, NO FLAWS... and powerchopped wood & ess mined... Then we had SCAR that took control of your entire computer. Then we had RSBot, KBot, SCionBot, all the other knockoffs until we have it here today.
I never botted until RSBot [pre-powerban] started to make breakthroughs; I think I used SCAR to fletch years ago but I was always legit throughout the botting ages. Until Jagex on 9/9/09 slapped a "Manual Permanent Ban" on my would-be Completionist character; Then I started botting.

200k+ online before runescape update.
Five minutes after update. 40k
Bots didn't update yet.

The good old days to me was when pk'ing wasn't shit.
I remember when i got my slayer up to 99 legit.. That was like really much fun.. also made like 200m that way.

I agree that theres alot of bots and GP's has lost it's value and nothing we can do about it.

I sometimes miss it as a pker/staker. Everyone has the same fucking stats now... it's no fun. I remember when it took a lot of time to get the stats you wanted and you made your best RS friends while you were training or pking. My main account remains to this day about 75% done by hand. It's skills suck, but I started pking at about level 60 and got nearly maxed from that. I hit 95-99-50 with 95 Mage, 91 range, and like 97 hp all legitimately. That took me years of casual pking. Now my stats are 99 99 70 99 95 99 99 42. I got 92 range by hand and then botted to 99, I botted to 99 Mage, pked to 97 attack then botted 99, and my hitpoints were a mixture of both to go 97-99, though it was mostly legit between those levels and was my second 99. I botted 95 prayer with frost dragons but I could have done it by hand (I earned the money by hand staking) and I did 70 by hand further back. I trained the defense by hand because I let some idiots on my account and they got 55 def. Anyways, what took me years to do any ol' chum can bot within a few months. It's sort of depressing. I love my bots now because they help me finish other pking accounts that I never had the time for... but everyone has the same fucking stats and it gets old. I look forward to the day that jagex updates their game engine and kills the bots.
Good Ol' Days was when you worked hard for your account and once you made your goal your account wasn't a shit.

I've tried to do things legit, it just doesn't work anymore. I get about an hour into what I'm doing and then ask myself why I am doing this. :laugh:
