Another easy money method

Find really low levels, tell them you will hire them to do jobs. Have them gather feathers and tell them you will pay them 3-8gp per feather.

Pay them once they get 1k+

Take your feathers to the GE and sell at medium/low price.

Your money is now doubled.

You can even go kill chickens for your own feathers and resell
they are 15gp ea right now.

I remember way back I used to do this to some new guys running around, would pay like half for feathers, then sell for double, it was a great way to make profit, I turned like 10k into 100k...God those were the days.

Yes it was. Now we have the dumb trade limit that says how much the stuff is worth.

This is a pretty decent strategy for people who don't have a lot of gp. The only problem is that it takes time for the newbies to gather all those feathers.

It reminds me of law running where you go to a law altar with rune essence (or pure essence) and trade it with law runes (from the people who are trying to gain runecrafting exp). Definitely sucks how the trade limit screwed everything up.
