Find really low levels, tell them you will hire them to do jobs. Have them gather feathers and tell them you will pay them 3-8gp per feather.

Pay them once they get 1k+

Take your feathers to the GE and sell at medium/low price.

Your money is now doubled.
 
Nice, I personally have never heard or tried this but it seems like a fairly good way to make money. And best part of all those noobs are none the wiser!!

Good idea , but it's will not give you very good profit , like the Big bones for example.
 
or alternatively, get a chicken killer script kill them yourself for about 12 hours, get tons of feathers and just sell them


Thats if your a low level or just starting on runescape.

Very true because killing chickens is very boring.
 
Lol, nice idea But it isnt really a great money making method Its a no skill method
 
I remember way back I used to do this to some new guys running around, would pay like half for feathers, then sell for double, it was a great way to make profit, I turned like 10k into 100k...God those were the days.

Yes it was. Now we have the dumb trade limit that says how much the stuff is worth.
 
This is a pretty decent strategy for people who don't have a lot of gp. The only problem is that it takes time for the newbies to gather all those feathers.

It reminds me of law running where you go to a law altar with rune essence (or pure essence) and trade it with law runes (from the people who are trying to gain runecrafting exp). Definitely sucks how the trade limit screwed everything up.
 
I just did this on my pure range f2p acc and it was good as i know have enough arrows from 1-70 lols.
 
I was level 3 and left a chicken killing script on over night and got 32 prayer and 200k gp from feathers
 
Lmao, you could always do the easy way, and just train Hunter ;]
