Annoying Gimp

I'm getting tired of this constant freezing of gimp. I was in the middle of making a new sig when Gimp froze. I was going to make that signature beautiful. Knew i should've save a Xcf.

Maybe try adding more RAM dedicated to GIMP also why is this in showcase shouldn't this be in GFX Support since your sig isn't finished.

I had the same problem when I was starting i had no idea where all the tools were. There official website has some tutorials on PS you should check them out.

yea happens... when im working on something really cool I save every like 5 minutes to make sure I dont loose the progress.

Let it be photoshop or GIMP or any other raster editor they do freeze a lot when the work gets heavier that's why I save my file before working on it and keep on saving it frequently and when the file reaches a big size I save it after each step.
