So obviously there has been some issues lately. Well basically, Quad the Scammer attempted to steal forumkorner.org and he failed miserably. He then redirected the domain to another site acting as if he defaced fk, however he didn't actually touch fk besides the domain. The database is clean, and your current password is safe as long as you have changed it since the new theme has been up. A lot of the old features are gone due to the possibility of vulnerabilities in the plugins, along with the Audentio theme. That is why we reverted back to our old theme, I will add features back very slowly, and when the time is right purchase a new custom theme for FK. This time hopefully vulnerability free.
As for the other two domains (.com and .net) which where stolen on the first of March are still locked, which will remain to be locked until I go to court for them. This will more than likely be within the next couple of weeks. forumkorner.net will be the first one we will be getting back more than likely. Our .com domain will take a bit longer.
I know most users thinks FK isn't safe or secure, however I am doing my best to keep us online, and protected. I just want to reassure everyone that no matter what happens, I will always bring FK back. There is nothing that can be done to make me take the site down. I also will never ever negotiate with these hackers what so ever. They want to try and black mail me, and get me to do things. I just want everyone to know I am not just sitting here doing nothing. In the past couple days have gotten 10 hours sleep max, and have been on the phone getting everything sorted probably triple that.
I am planning to be putting FK on another server hopefully before Friday. We will be running on two different dedicated servers, bringing us more up-time, and faster page loads.
Anything you lost such as reputation, awards, and anything else please, just be patient it will either be added back, or you will regain it overtime. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, just please post a thread, or a reply before pming me. I have a lot on my plate right now, and the least thing I need is to be flooded with pms about things others can help with.
I have changed the way a few things work as well. Some settings have been completely changed around on purpose of course. I have removed all admins besides myself, yet making staff members have limited Admin CP access to help with some features. Another major change I have done is disabled the ability to change your email, and the ability for users to delete or junk their posts. If you ever feel the need to change your email address simply contact me, or a staff member. Also I will not be re-uploading avatars so if your avatar is broken you are going to have to re- upload your avatar with 100x100 dimensions.
