Singer Amy Winehouse, 27, has been found dead at her north London home.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed that a 27-year-old woman had died in Camden and that the cause of death was as yet unexplained.

London Ambulance Service said it had been called to the flat at 1554 BST and sent two vehicles but the woman died.

The troubled singer had a long battle with drink and drugs which overshadowed her recent musical career. She pulled out of a comeback tour last month.

Saddened by the news, however I cannot say I didn't expect it.

Shows what drugs do to you. She was quite stupid to start them in the first place.

I thought they didn't release why she died yet..

What ever, probably is drugs.

I don't do that sympathy crap, she shouldn't have done them. She knew what she was getting in to.

I love how everyone makes a big deal about it but no one knew cared about her a week ago.

She was a huge druggie.

Death wasn't unexpected.

Haven't seen how she died but I'm guessing drugs or OD'ing.

I can sense a form of sarcasm in everybody's response..

Hmm.. ¬.¬

eXero, you have a nerve constantly reporting my posts as flaming you, yet you make a post like that?...

I never said you were flaming, but you have the cheek to report my posts as flaming just because I put you in your place with FACTS.

You're so disrespectful posting like that when someone has died.

The fact that she did drugs automatically degraded the term "life" in her case. She didn't care for life, so why should we?

How can you say that. She is human. Lots of people do drugs, it doesn't make them in-humane.

You're a sick individual..

I never said it made them inhuman, but she was telling the world she didn't give a fuck about her body, her health, so what reason do we have? If she had intended to change, or get help, then we would have reasons to care, reasons to hope, and reasons to believe, but she failed to do so. In conclusion: You want to think things are different when in actuality, they are not.

EDIT: Oh, and for the record, no I am not a sick human being. All life forms are a creation of God, and have the opportunity to walk on the right path. That is just my belief. Amy Winehouse was not, and chose not to out of human nature, and you are asking me to care about that human nature?

There's a difference between going to rehab, and wanting to go to rehab. ^
