AMD or Intel Processor?

I am going to be buying a gaming desktop soon and wondering what type of proccesor should I get AMD or Intel? Post which and why please

Budget wise, AMD.. you can get a really really nice amd for around 100-200$

Where as you pay 300-700 for a nice nice nice intel

I have i7 (Yes, I have a shit graphics card but f*ck, why would minecraft need graphics?) and I get like 40FPS

Sometimes it shoots up to like 200 for a minute/two then goes back down

And amd when the fan stops the processor gets completely fucked and ruins the whole computer pretty much. I guess I will look into and i7 even though it will cost me like $200 more

I currently have an AMD Athlon IIX4 620 Processor 2.60GHz.
I suggest AMD because, I can run 5+ Bots, Pk and Record at the same time. No lag

AMD is cheaper, but you need a better cooling? I don't know if this is still true now, but Intel is great. I poor so I prefer AMD.
