I made another site, been kinda bored lately.

But I think this one can actually attract some people (not that I'm quitting R&P Forums).

The concept is to offer members a place where they can advertise their sites for free. There's a rule at the moment, in which they need to have 350 points before posting a thread in the advertising section, but that's until I get enough people.

I know the Advertisement Section is small, but it'll grow as the forum grows. It will be divided into many categories, and will be the main tab. But for now, I need activity.

Would you be willing to do that? I'm hosting with HostGator though.

It should be "add your ad" in the title, dummy.

You're still going to need a .com or net domain.

Posting competitions and contests are what you need to make an advertisement site successful. The main focal point of the site is advertising other sites, and you make a profit. But no one would desperately want you to advertise your site if your site isn't successful. So if you get a community on there with some active daily views, you'll get some more interest. Best way is pay-to-post competitions, or post 2 host competitions etc.
