Account of the Month is a contest held by Rune Gear to showcase the wide array of Runscape Accounts owned by members of Rune Gear. Contestants simply post a picture of them with their account in Lumbridge. They must be doing the following:

Doing an emoticon - Preferably Dance/Skill cape (if applicable).
Have the text in their textbox/said aloud: "RuneGear.net - 2011 October AoTM!"
Show all their skills - none covered.
Cover the username.

Once you have a screenshot of your account, reply to this post with the image and a paragraph of 20 words or more stating why you believe your account should win.

Winners
All winners will be decided by the forum community through an interactive voting poll. There will be three winners.

First place:
10M RSGP +

Second place:
5M RSGP

Third place:
RG Elite

The contests works like this. After the thread is posted, there are nominations and applicants for 13-14 days. Once the nominations are over, voting will begin for the next 7 days. The winner will be announced on the 20th of that month. Then, it will be repeated. New contests usually begin on the 7th of the month prior to the contest month.

If a member wins, they can not win until 2 months have passed. Let the nominations begin!

Why I believe I should win:
Well, I'm not going to write a long story. Simple and to the point.
I've had this account for 8 months and I've almost reached 2k total in that time, as-well as a nice and sexy 104 Dungeoneering.
I think this is quite an achievement to have not been permed yet :)

Why so? What if people don't have much money, just a decent account. Plus, they could just put all the cash they have hacked/phished onto that account, which isn't related to it much. :p
