I just got a tag for free because the old owner before the current owner put parental locks on it, everytime I try to sign in it asks me to accept the new xbox live terms and It makes me sign in with the parental windows live id and password. the tag has a non spaced v1 so swapping is an issue. I obviously do not have the windows live id or password anyway to bypass it or get rid of the controls?
 
im not sure you can do this. and you might want to clarify as its hard to understand

Say his friend is named "Bob".

Bob gave him a tag. The owner before Bob set parental controls on the account. When Lethal tries to accept the new Xbox Live Terms of Service, he needs to sign into the parental ID but he doesn't know the parental ID.

correct I am not sure of what to do I do not have the original billing info so I dk if calling will work. I cant swap keep in mind there is a v1

thanks Kev. wel try contacting the owner who gave you the tag. He might have access to it. Other than that its pretty much impossible

Lethal, just call up MS and say you can log in, but can accept the new terms without the parental email, and it's your dads email, and you can't get a hold of him since he moved, so basically SE them.
 
I had parental controls on mine :/
When I had to accept new terms I had to do it through the Console and it didn't prompt for a parental ID, but it did on Xbox.com.

I eventually called Microsoft and they said you'll have to wait until the upgrades to an adult account.

So you might be out of luck, I'm not sure.
Did you try on Xbox Console and Xbox.com?

tried both, its an adult account I am going to contact live support

Contact MS, say you have turned 18 and would like to have parental controls to be removed from your account.

Oh yeah! They should upgrade it for you, but they told me that the account should upgrade itself :s!
But I hope they fix it for you, goodluck!
 
Um, maybe try calling xbox and make a UA on ur own account? it will swap the id and then the parental email wont be on the account because its a different account basically. hope it helps maybe!
