I used forumkorner about two years ago and I had the gamertag "E li" so I decided to sell it to a kid that offered $80. Ok here is the sad part.. I told the kid "ok dude whatever you do, DON'T TRY SWAPPING THE GT TO A SILVER YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT DELETED" So a few hours flew buy and I bought the gamer tag "Bandana" for $60 and and another gt for $20. When I checked my pay pal I noticed my account had -$80 in it and I was like wtf. So I tried adding "E li" on xbox & the gamer tag didn't exist....... The kid tried swapping the tag and it got deleted so he took his money back but lucky for me I spent it and I changed credit cards that way I don't get charged the -$80. So yup R.i.p E LI
 
Lmao what a fucking retard I'm glad you didn't lose any money, kids a dumb fuck. My friend a while ago sold the tag B ubble and the kid who bought it tried swapping it and lost the tag. I swear man kids are so fucking stupid haha.

Dude I wish I still had it I traded the gamer tag for the tag "fishing" then someone stole the tag from me and got it banned 2 weeks later that's why I quit forumkorner :(

You should've informed the buyer more information why not to change the gamertag.
Other than just telling them to not swap it cause in their perspective they could be like oh this guy might take the gamertag back.
At least you didn't lose anything

Oh dude trust me I gave him a lot of information about swapping. E li was the best gt I've owned in my opinion I should had not sold it in the first place but oh well
 
You should probably open a scam report on him, other than that, you got pretty lucky.

I am serious, it's obvious that he's a scammer when he chargebacks after doing the exact opposite of what the seller instructed the buyer to do. Hence the buyer is at fault and should've just sucked it up instead of chargebacking, which in return is scamming the seller.

You did get scammed, even worse, if you don't pay up to PayPal, then you'll never be able to have a legitimate genuine PayPal account.

If the member is banned, then fine, if not, then I'd still suggest opening a scam report. The scammer should refund OP in full even though it's 2 years ago.
