A quick question

if its just a short sentence which just ends up with F*ck you or something along those lines i would say it should be a LQ post.

But if it was like, "Ouch, I've just hit my toe, it hurts like fuck" or "Eww, that tasted like shit"

um not really, i wouldn't say that was LQ nor' immature.

Using "words" can't make a person LQ, a word or phrase cant be measured in "quality" its how you put those words together that may or may not turn into LQ junk, If i were to have a wall of text with a couple of cuses in it, would it be more of quality than "Fail troll is fail" with no cuses in it?

Also, I personally think its more of a grammer thing that makes people look/seem Low Quality, I'm not saying that to be HQ, you must use 10/10 pinpoint accurate sentance structure or grammar. But to just make it read-able and not messy, if you know what i meen.

What makes some1 low quality is their personality not the words they use.

If some-one said 'F*ck' or 'Shit' does it make them immature and low quality?

Opinions.

It depends. If you swear every second word, sure, you're immature and childish, because you could have put a little more effort into finding other words to describe how you felt. However, if it slips out once in a while, I don't think it makes someone low quality.

We've all seen good users that know how to contain themselves without swearing at other members but when it comes to a point where plain words just aren't doing it anymore, sometimes you need to swear to show your degree of anger that some people otherwise wouldn't be able to express through words.

This is a good topic. It needed to be asked. Everyone now-a-days thinks that you're high quality and respected on a forum if you can construct a sentence with no spelling or grammar mistakes. That's not the case. It's the content of your sentence that tells people what they need to know about you. I'll compare wale and Steezy. Wale always wrote well and didn't make that many spelling mistakes in his sentences or swear that often, if at all, but sometimes, as proven by his recent ban and reputation markings, his comments simply had no correlation with what the OP was talking about. And if we take a look at Steezy, not that he isn't literate but he doesn't spend every second of his day trying to think of a way to make his sentence have the best structure possible. He says what he has to say because he knows that the content of his phrase will have more value that how he delivered it. A real good user can do both.

Why did you bring Wales ban into this? That 100% has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of his posts. He requested a ban, and that ban was given as requested, nothing more.
Also grammar and spelling goes a lot towards the difference between a high and low quality post (in my opinion at least), if someone said to me: "wuts ben goin on bra?" I would consider that low quality, but if someone said "What's been happening lately?" I would not consider that low quality.

By 'his recent ban' I was referring to his limitation, not the ban he requested. The limitation was a direct result of his posting. The ban was not.

He was not bringing Wale's ban into this, He was using it as an example. I think Solidify is right, to be honest. Its not just because he wrote a long sentence about it, its what he said in it, he explains what he thinks of it, he gives Examples. like he said, its not that if someone uses Slang in a sentence it becomes Low Quality, its that they had nothing going along with the topic.

Sorry it's just when you said ban I naturally assumed you meant ban and not limited. I think there are multiple factors, each factor adds up to go from low quality to normal to high quality.
Length, grammar, spelling and quality.

Of course but I didn't get into those aspects because frankly, that's not what the OP was asking about;

I think we've gone a little deeper into the meaning.
But I'm sure Jonathan has gotten his answer though.
Right Jonathan?

Two people alone don't represent the answer. That's why his thread said 'opinions'. There is no right answer. In a discussion, your answer is right as long as you can support it with enough valid reasoning.

It only depends on how the person structures their sentence(s) with it.
Such as "Nigga fuck you fucking little prick" and "You are the fucking walking scum of the earth" are two different meaning and one is more badass than the other.

Yes but I'm sure after we have announced our opinion he has formed his own opinion through our opinions. There is no valid reasoning to be done because it can't be done, besides saying grammar is more important than spelling, quality is more important than spelling and so fourth.

How ironic...

I spelled fourth correctly, my grammar was correct as well. Although I meant to write quality is more important than grammar, although it still made the sentence fine, just didn't go how I wanted it to have. You shouldn't argue with U's in words, it's like me spelling the word colour with a U then you spelling it without.
No one is wrong, just depends on your location.
Anyways I'm going to bed, 5 to 3am.

[EDIT] Sad face :sad2:

Isn't it and so forth? Instead of "fourth". You're wrong Joel.

"The adverb forth means onward in time, place, or order. It appears in the expressions "and so forth" and "back and forth." The adjective fourth refers to the ordinal number between"
